hs.credit: Where Students Become Creators and Educators Become Curators
What if you could design a month’s worth of learning for any 11th or 12th-grade student in the nation? Would you include finance and hard money, since they are often not taught in schools? Or maybe how hard working people become slaves to debt, while the wealthy use debt instruments to avoid taxes? Or what about social media and the psychology of monetizing attention? Shouldn’t internships count for something? How about being on a winning after-school robotics team?
What do you wish they taught in high school? What if you had a say in all these things? And what if you could earn money by evaluating student work for credit?
hs.credit is a platform where approved “credit studios” come to publish credits. A credit appears on our app as a rubric with content resources and serves as a call-to-action for young people to create academic video and audio content.
NB: Currently, payment to credit experts depends on donations to our nonprofit. As we reach scale, the credit experts on the platform will be able to determine how to sell API access to our gold standard academic data. Such membership subscriptions from school districts and universities will then pay for credit experts to continue evaluating incoming student work.

We are currently seeking our first credit studios who want to work with our veteran educators to publish a credit for our beta program.
